TrialWorks SQL uses Microsoft SQL
Server 2000/2005 to host the
database. Documents (generated
docs, scans, and pictures, and
e-mail*) are stored in a Windows
directory structure that is managed
by TrialWorks. All documents
are linked to their respective
records. Such design ensures
efficient function as well as
consistency and integrity of our
database.
The
client-side of TrialWorks SQL
(version 9.0 and below) uses
Microsoft Office Components as a
backbone. TrialWorks 10.0
(available sometime in 2007) changes
to a more modern design utilizing
ASP.NET and VB.NET frameworks.
To
operate across WANs and to support
multiple offices TrialWorks can be
easily configured to run on Windows
Terminal Server and/or Citrix
Server. Although
TrialWorks can work across VPN, the
large amount of data results in
decreased performance.
