Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 is *not*
required for TrialWorks. Our
installation is pre-packaged with MSDE SP4
or SQL Server 2005 Express.
However, your IT department, or a
Microsoft Partner, should be
consulted on your individual needs.
Microsoft SQL Server 2000/2005 and
Microsoft Data Engine (MSDE)/SQL
2005 Express
requirements differ greatly from the
realistic requirements a server
supporting SQL applications.
To get a better understanding of
what your server needs consult an
experienced IT provider, or contact
our technical specialists. For
example MSDE minimum requirements
are Pentium 1 @ 166, 128 MB
RAM, 250 MB disk space whereas in
practice these would not support a
complex database.
